The Superior Public Works Department The Superior Public Works Department will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. This will include the Municipal Landfill. Due to the holiday, garbage service will begin Tuesday, May 26th for the week. Monday and Tuesday routes should have their garbage out on Tuesday by 7:00 am. Wednesday and Thursday routes shou have their garbage out on Wednesday. Friday routes have no change. Be aware there may be delays on some routes. RECYCLING: The recycling schedule will be delayed one day during this holiday. Recycling questions can be directed to Hartel's Disposal at 218-729-5446.
