Riverside Cemetery Holds Annual Meeting The Riverside Cemetery Board met on Tuesday July 27, 2023 at New Perspective Senior Living, in Superior, WI. The financial statement was read and approved. One mowing/snow plowing bid was awarded to Jim Plunkett for the 2023 season. 2022 was a very busy year with burials, lot sales, along with cleanup of brush & downed trees. We have been able to clean and unearth some flat markers. We have around 17 more monuments that have fallen down that we need to re-stand and repair, we hav- en't been able to find family members to assist with repairs. We have some money available for this, but any donations would be greatly appreciated. We have about 6 more trees to be removed and removed over 13 last year. Repairs to monuments, removing trees, and basic maintenance for lawn mowing will run approx. $15,680.00. Riverside Cemetery along with many other ceme- teries is finding it more difficult to keep up with the increasing expenses, especially those above and beyond the usual mow- ing and trimming. Riverside is asking that you consider leaving a legacy gift to the cemetery in your will or estate planning. Any donations at this time would be greatly appreciated and would enable work to be done on some additional projects. The board members are grateful to those who have previously sent do- nations. These gifts have greatly helped complete the "extras". Please send donations to; Riverside Cemetery c/o Concordia Lutheran Church 1708 John Ave Superior, WI 54880 Thank you, Riverside Cemetery Board Members Rob Hering - president; Ed Lindgren; Ken Harmer; Pete Quist; Pastor Michelle; Nancy O'Neil - treasurer; Tom O'Neil; and Carol Lindgren - secretary 2023 Riverside Cemetery Minutes Riverside Cemetery Holds Annual Meeting The Riverside Cemetery Board met on Tuesday July 27 , 2023 at New Perspective Senior Living , in Superior , WI .
