Local Time, on October 14, 2021 in the office of the Douglas County Clerk, Room 101, 1313 Belknap Street, Superior, Wisconsin, 54880. Bids will be opened in room 270 of the Courthouse immediately following the 2 P.M deadline. The Project is as follows: 1. Douglas County Jail - second floor Holding Cell Renovation Project *The project consists of the partial demolition and expansion of the existing single holding cell and double holding cell area on the second floor, to three separate double holding cells, adding a shower and adding an interview room as per plans and specifications. Bid documents may be obtained via the online service QuestCDN (project number 8033341) or at www.douglascountywi.org/iailholdingcellrenovation. A prebid meeting will be held in room 270 of the Courthouse on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 2pm. It is recommended that the primary contractor attend, as well as interested subcontractors. All participants of the prebid meeting that want to tour the renovation space inside the jail will need to pass a background check prior to the prebid meeting.
